Date set to 4-digit year displays as 2-digit year due to short date style.
Cause:
The short date style in the Windows 95 Regional Settings dialog box has been set to a two digit year style. The date is still stored in memory as a four digit date, but the display is a two digit date. Regional settings in Windows 95 determine the default date display for all Windows 95 applications.
Solution:
Change the date display format in Regional Settings in Windows Control Panel.
1) Click 'Start' to display the Windows 'Start' menu.
